Saturday Remembrance Prayer

🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Holy Divine Father,

Once again we come to you

with praises

to the name of The Father,

The Son and The Holy Spirit.

Many a time we have made plans about our lives,

planned holidays, birthday celebrations, weddings etc

but the decision is entirely upon you.

We have viewed those with terminal illness

and judged that their time is up,

yet you snatch from us those who are physically healthy.

Worldly prophets have made prophecies which you have proved wrong.

Oh, loving God,

We are in awesome wonder of the riches of your wisdom and knowledge.

How unsearchable your judgements,

and your paths beyond tracing out!

Despite the sadness that comes with death

we continue to have hope that when the day of ‘crossing over’ comes

You will be there with us!
